About
Looking for a meaningful way to make a positive difference in our community? Check out our patient companionship program! As the only non-profit hospice serving Baton Rouge and the surrounding areas, we are dedicated to providing compassionate care for patients and families in need. We believe that everyone deserves compassionate care and support when they need it, without exception.
Our program matches caring volunteers with patients in need of support and respite care, providing emotional and social support that can make all the difference in the world. Through this program, volunteers also learn essential skills in empathy, communication, and cultural humility that will serve them well in any field.
So, if you're ready to make a difference and connect with others on a personal level, consider joining our Patient Companionship program today.
